Penners88 on Twitter: "Now that my exams are over, I can concentrate on the French open all day. Murray to win in straight sets #BBCTennis"
1039: Half an hour gone, Li Na has three set points....ooof. Double fault. Easy does it. And Cirstea blasts a backhand about 10 feet too long and it's first blood to China's sixth seed. 6-2 in 30 minutes.
1035: Still very quiet on Lenglen. Li Na gets close to the opening set but Cirstea hangs on for a few minutes. 5-2. BBC Sport's Piers Newbery is off to do some scouting and heading to Court 1 to spy on Dolopolov v Troicki - next opponent for Murray or Berrer. A REMINDER - Murray on after Li Na.
Latest scores
1027: Time for some scores. Azarenka (fourth seed) has opened up a 2-1 lead over Vinci (ranked 30). Li Na has her chances but a sloppy long one gets Cirstea on the board. 4-1. Dolgopolov and Troicki are 2-2. Vania King (Balatacha's conqueror) has it all to after losing the first three games to ninth seed Kvitova.

hottheadd11 on Twitter: "Murray to win in straight sets losing only 8 games. United to win 2-1, Chicharito scoring the winner in the last minute #bbctennis"
Any other predictions for Muzz? He's up against a German called Berrer. Read the excellent preview by Piers Newbery on Murray v Berrer.
1019: So Murray on after Li Na and Cirstea. China's number six has made a pretty tidy start - I say tidy - I mean spotless. Two breaks and a 3-0 lead. Not bad. Murray could be on sooner than we thought. Court Suzanne Lenglen in case you're wondering. And it's a very very quiet court right now. Half of Paris still munching on their croissants and supping their coffee noirs I suspect. Eating croissants? They do still do that in France don't they?
1016: What a blooming day today. F1, football, rugby, cricket. All rubbish and meaningless sports right? This is the home for the stinky clay (Elena Baltacha's words) of Roland Garros for the next nine hours (ish). How are you all doing today? Predictions, tennis thoughts, Murray opinions, anything. I'd love to hear from you. Tweet me, tweet using #bbctennis or text. Easy.

Coach and commentator Brad Gilbert on Twitter: "We've got a little screamfest with Aza and Shazza both playing. Look for them to noisily and easily move on to the round of 16."
BBC Sport's Piers Newbery at Roland Garros: "Morning, sun's out and less wind - a good start. Murray on Red Button/online/5 live all via @BBCSport website from.... 12pm UK? #bbctennis"
1009: Want to get involved in all of this on Sizzling Saturday? Feel free to tweet me with anything at @bbcsport_mark or just get involved by using the hashtag at #bbctennis ) OR if you prefer phone operations, then text us on 81111 (UK) with TENNIS before your message.
1005: Straight to business. First up is Li Na and the sixth seed is up against Sorana Cirstea on Lenglen. On Chatrier is Roberta Vinci and Victoria Azarenka. And there's a British guy with a fabulous mop of hair called Andrew Murray playing Michael Berrer second on after Li Na. And don't forget Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro resume at one-set all after Murray but not before midday (BST). There's your little mouth-waterer for you. More line-ups in a bit.
1001: Morning. Quite a day today on many levels. Anyone for tennis?
